Job summary

Frontline's Approach Social Work programme offers a fully funded master’s degree in children’s social work, with hands-on practice and mentoring to help you thrive.

You’ll train while working in a local authority, earn a tax-free bursary of £18,000–£20,000 in year one, and progress to £30,000–£39,000 in year two with potential up to £44,000 in year three. Upon completion, you’re guaranteed employment as a newly qualified social worker.

Qualifications

• Have at least a 2.2 in an undergraduate degree (or international equivalent).
• GCSE English Language at Grade C/4 or above.
• Right to work and study in the UK for duration of the programme.
• Be resident in England by programme start.
• Not a qualified social worker.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children and families to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Participate in training while gaining hands-on experience in local authority teams.
• Contribute to safeguarding, assessment and decision-making processes.
