Job summary

Frontline offers a fully funded master's degree in children's social work, with a tax-free bursary in year one and a guaranteed post-programme job as a newly qualified social worker within a local authority. The three-year programme combines academic study with hands-on practice, enabling you to earn and learn from day one.

Participants come from diverse backgrounds and are supported through the Frontline Fellowship, with salaries rising through years two and three and a branch of ongoing

Qualifications

• Have at least a 2.2 in an undergraduate honours degree (predicted or obtained).
• GCSE English Language at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
• Right to work and study in the UK for the duration of the programme.
• Be resident in England by the time the programme commences.
• Not be a qualified social worker.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children and families to keep them safe and thriving.
• Visit a child at home or school and collaborate with teachers or health professionals.
• Weigh up risks, influence decisions and advocate for children with empathy and resilience.
