TECNIQ in Witham is seeking a Trainee Carbon Trimmer for the night shift to join our Composites Department. You will trim composite components using air tools and hand tools, reading engineering drawings and contributing to meeting production deadlines.
As a trainee, you will work in a PPE-intensive environment and develop transferable skills. 5S standards and a safe, organized workspace are essential, with overtime available.
We are looking for a Trainee Carbon Fibre Trimmer to join our Composites Department creating components for some of the world’s most prestigious vehicle development programmes. Transferable skills and a great attitude are an advantage, for example experience of air-fed tools. This role involves wearing full personal protective equipment including a respirator or air-fed mask.
TECNIQ are a creative, technology-driven design, engineering, and manufacturing business. We deliver all aspects of design, engineering, testing and manufacture from a single facility. This vertical integration represents considerable supply chain benefits to our customers and a broad working environment for our teams.
We are partners on ultra-premium, low-volume programmes delivering vehicle programmes for the ultra-exclusive, ultra-high-value automotive sector for automotive brands such as Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, Ford GT, Aston Martin, Pininfarina, Gordon Murray and many more on such vehicles as, amongst others, the Mercedes AMG-ONE, Pininfarina’s Battista and Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Pro.
In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net-worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high-end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.
This role is based at our Witham engineering facility.
