Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Trainee CAD Operator for a client in the construction sector. The role focuses on producing 3D models and preparing drawings for approval, while maintaining project records and client communications.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills (Excel/Word/Emails) and good organisational abilities. Tekla CAD experience isn’t required as in-house training will be provided; some knowledge of construction is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tekla CAD is not essential; in-house training will be provided.
• Intermediate IT skills including Excel, Word and Emails.
• Good organisational skills and a coordinated approach to tasks.
• Knowledge of the construction industry would be helpful but is not essential.

Our client supplies innovative and effective products to the construction industry, and they are looking to recruit a Trainee CAD Operator.

Duties include.

• Contacting clients to confirm and request information.
• Work with the project team and clients design teams to produce 3D Models.
• Prepare and issue Drawings for comment/approval.
• Inputting and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Preparing information packs for field engineers and clients site operatives.

We are looking for;

• Experience of Tekla CAD system is not essential, as in-house training will be given.
