Job summary

Arriva offers a Trainee Bus Driver position at the Tamworth depot with paid training to obtain your PCV licence. You will train at the Arriva Training School and be mentored after initial weeks to develop driving and customer service skills.

Shifts run 5 days out of 7 on a rotating pattern from early mornings, with overtime and career progression opportunities. Free travel for you and your family is part of the package, plus pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Have held a driving licence for at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn to drive PCV with paid training at Arriva Training School.
• Operate scheduled bus routes on a rotating shift pattern.
• Deliver safe, reliable transport for passengers including schools and commuters.
• Maintain professional standards and customer service on board and at stops.
