Job summary

Stagecoach Fenstanton Depot is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver (including an Apprenticeship qualification). No previous experience is required; you will earn while you learn with fully paid training to obtain your PCV licence via a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship at our Fenstanton depot.

During training you’ll earn £12.21 per hour for 6–8 weeks. After qualification, typical annual earnings are £36,036 based on 42 hours per week, with shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and 183 days residency in UK/Islands or meet DV criteria.
• Patient, safe and courteous approach.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a passion for delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to gain PCV licence and Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Drive the Stagecoach fleet safely and confidently.

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach
