Stagecoach Group Limited is hiring at our Kettering depot for a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprentice. No prior driving experience required; you will be paid to train and gain your PCV licence as part of a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, with a structured programme and externally recognised qualification.

You will drive safely, deliver great customer service, and support passengers across a 39-hour week, with shifts including weekends.

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Right to work in the UK (DVLA criteria)

Annual earnings in excess of £28,675
Pay rates between £14.14 and £22.29 per hour (pending review) increasing after 1 year

• Annual earnings of in excess of £28,675 based on a 39-hour working week without enhancements
• Shift patterns of any 5 days out of 7 including weekend working

What will you be doing?

• Completing our industry leading training, securing your PCV licence followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development which form part of gaining your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship

• Working a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, no two days are the same!

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence for more than 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (You will need to have been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days as part of DVLA requirement) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the British overseas territories for the last 3 years OR meet alternative criteria due to funding criteria (can be discussed via application)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach
