Job summary

Stagecoach Aviemore Depot is looking for friendly, safety-conscious individuals to join as trainee bus drivers. You will be paid to train and funded for your PCV licence, with progression to a qualified driver role based on performance.

The role involves delivering excellent customer service, ensuring safe journeys and contributing to a welcoming environment for all passengers at Aviemore depot.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK (183 days in the UK for DVLA requirement).
• Willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team.
• Patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
• Able to deliver great customer service and a friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete industry leading training and obtain your PCV licence, followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development.
• Drive our fleet safely and confidently.
• Ensure every customer has a great journey and high-quality service.
• Deliver top-notch customer service to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected and cared for.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Weekly earnings of £613 with opportunities for overtime.

Typical annualized salary of £31,886

• Earn while you learn, we provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence
• Based at our Aviemore depot, located at Myrtlefield Industrial Estate Aviemore PH22 1SB
• Pay rate during training of £14.60 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)
• Annual earnings of £31,886 following completion of training based on 42 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver
• Overtime rate of £16.50 per hour
• Shift patterns of early, midday, late and split
