Job summary

Stagecoach, based at the Charles Street depot in Glasgow, is recruiting qualified drivers for their coach fleet. The role offers training and progression within a large UK network, with shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

You will operate coaches safely, deliver excellent customer service and be the friendly face of Stagecoach to passengers and communities in Glasgow and beyond.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PCV licence and have at least 1 year of coach driving experience.
• 21 years old or older and eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent customer service and a patient, courteous approach.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive coaches safely and create a great journey for passengers.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and assist passengers.
• Handle bookings and contribute to a welcoming depot environment.

At our Charles Street depot, we operate a fleet of 16 coaches covering the areas of Glasgow to Edinburgh on the 900 service & Glasgow to Dumfries on the X74 service with a team of 52 drivers.

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 21 years old and hold a PCV licence
• Minimum of 1 year coach experience required
• Right to work in the UK
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach, a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team
