Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited is recruiting for a Bus Driver Apprentice at Walkergate depot in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will train to obtain a PCV licence through a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship and begin earning while you learn.

During training you will be paid, with increases after completion. The role offers progression into driving and customer service, with guaranteed shifts and a clear career pathway in a large transport network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK with DVLA residency criteria.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and obtain a PCV licence as part of the Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Drive our approved fleet safely and provide great customer service.
• Deliver a welcoming, helpful experience for customers on every journey.
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
