Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited is inviting applicants to become trainee bus drivers at our Morecambe depot. You’ll be paid to learn, with a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship and training to achieve your PCV licence, funded by Stagecoach.

You’ll start with paid training at £15.34 per hour for 6–8 weeks, then progress to a full role with earnings around £31K+ annually based on 39 hours per week. No experience required, 18+ and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and hold a UK driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no bans in past 5 years.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Complete industry-leading training to gain your PCV licence.
• Drive the Stagecoach fleet safely and confidently.
• Deliver excellent customer service and help customers on their journey.
• Wrap up by supporting a welcoming experience for all customers.
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
