Job summary

Stagecoach in Hastings is hiring for a bus driver with paid training and a plan to obtain your PCV licence. You’ll earn during training, then progress through CPC and Driver Level 2 Apprenticeship support, becoming a confident licensed driver in a friendly team.

We welcome applicants aged 18+, with a UK driving licence and up to 6 penalty points, ready to deliver excellent customer service across shifts that include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• You need to be at least 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK (DVLA requirement: been in the UK for a minimum of 183 days)
• A patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
• Being the face of Stagecoach with a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team

Responsibilities

• Completing our industry leading training and securing your PCV licence with CPC ongoing training
• Participating in the Passenger Transport Driver Level 2 Apprenticeship Scheme with Realise Training
• Driving the fleet safely and confidently
• Delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring a great journey for every passenger
• Creating a welcoming environment where customers feel respected and looked after
• Working flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
