Job summary

Stagecoach Oxford is offering a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship to train you to become a PCV licensed driver at the Oxford depot. You will earn while you learn, with fully paid training and a structured programme designed to gain your PCV licence and CPC qualifications.

No prior experience required, and you will work across early, middle and late shifts while building a career with a market-leading transport operator focused on sustainable, clean energy vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and 183 days residency in the UK and Islands or meet alternative funding criteria.
• A patient, safe and courteous approach.
• Being the face of Stagecoach with a positive, friendly attitude and passion for great customer service.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to secure your PCV licence and ongoing CPC training as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Drive the fleet safely and confidently.
• Ensure every customer has a great journey.
• Deliver top‑notch customer service to all ages and backgrounds.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel cared for.
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
