Job summary

Stagecoach Grimsby is looking for an apprentice bus driver. You’ll train on the job, earning £13.73 per hour during a 6–8 week training period, then move to £15.00 per hour as a qualified driver at 39 hours per week, based at the Grimsby depot on Victoria Street.

This Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship provides a structured programme and a recognised PCV licence, with no impact on your role, pay or hours. Shifts include early, middle and late, plus weekends.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training to gain your PCV licence.
• Willing to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses as part of your apprenticeship and learn to become a qualified driver.
• Deliver safe, reliable passenger service.
• Be punctual and provide excellent customer experience.
