Job summary

Stagecoach Torquay Depot is hiring through a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship. You will train with paid coursework and gain your PCV licence as part of the programme, with no prior driving experience required.

The role starts with training paid at £15.16 per hour and advances to a qualified Bus Driver earning £33,441+ a year based on 39 hours weekly. Join a friendly team and support your community by helping people travel safely.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and be legally eligible for employment.
• Willing to train and gain PCV licence through the apprenticeship.
• Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude and commitment to customer service.
• Able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete our industry-leading training and obtain the PCV licence via the Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Drive our bus fleet safely and confidently, delivering a great journey for customers.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist passengers.
• Create a welcoming environment and support customers who rely on the service.
• Work flexible shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends.
