Job summary

First Bus in Leeds is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver to join our Leeds team and learn on the job with full training provided. You will work across mornings, evenings and weekends on a rotating rota to offer reliable passenger service. No prior experience required, just a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

We offer a permanent, full-time role with 37 hours per week across 4 days, plus benefits and progression opportunities as you train to become a licensed driver.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK must be shown.
• Must be at least 18 years old with at least 6 months driving experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to work on a rota/shift basis.
• Shifts may include early mornings, late nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Job Title - Trainee Bus Driver

Location - Leeds, Bramley

Salary - £14.08 per hour- (£27,089 per annum)

Contract - Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week - 4 days per week, Monday - Sunday

You’ll work a variety of shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends. Shifts are planned in advance, giving you structure and flexibility, including weekday time off.

What we need from you:

• Proof of your Right to Work in the UK
• You must be at least 18 years of age with at least 6 months driving experience
• Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Flexibility to work on a rota / shift basis.
• (There are a variety of shifts which may consist of early mornings (starting 03.30hrs) / late nights (finishing at 02:00hrs) / weekends.)
