Job summary

First Bus in Fareham is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver for a full-time, permanent role at 38 hours per week across a shift rota (including mornings, evenings and weekends). No prior bus experience is required as full training is provided.

You must be 18+ with a valid UK driving licence (max 6 points) and have 6 months of driving experience. Right to work in the UK is required; shifts are assigned in advance.

Job Title - Trainee Bus Driver

Location - Fareham, Hoeford

Salary - £13.78 per hour

Contract - Full Time, Permanent, 38 Hrs p/w. - 5 days per week (Monday – Sunday)

(Hours assigned in advance on a shift / Rota basis)

No bus experience needed, full training provided.

These are full-time, permanent roles, with 38 hours per week worked across a range of shift patterns, including mornings, evenings and weekends. Working a mix of shifts can mean weekday days off, and greater flexibility for work life balance.

What we need from you:

• Proof of your Right to Work in the UK
• You must be at least 18 years of age with at least 6 months driving experience
• Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Flexibility to work on a rota / shift basis. (There are a variety of shifts which may consist of early mornings (starting 03.30hrs) / late nights (finishing at 02:00hrs) / weekends.)
• Great people skills
