Job summary

AWD online is seeking a Trainee Building Surveyor to join a hybrid role across Midlands and South England. You will train on-site and from home, visiting construction sites and supporting building inspections with full training provided.

You’ll gain experience with site reporting, learning AutoCAD and REVIT 3D modelling as you develop inspection and surveying skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of construction, site environments.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Confident communicator with clients and site teams.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Organised, professional and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Positive and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction sites across the South and Midlands to observe and record building information.
• Capture site information through photos, notes and records.
• Prepare clear, well-structured records and reports.
• Liaise professionally with contractors, site managers and clients.
• Represent the company during site visits.
• Develop skills in AutoCAD and REVIT 3D modelling where relevant.
• Maintain accuracy with detailed observations and records.
