Job summary

You will work flexibly within a 24/7 service frame, training staff, and maintaining the department’s professional image while handling hazardous materials in a busy pathology setting.

Qualifications

• Essential: Working towards a Biomedical Science Degree or IBMS-accredited qualification.
• Desirable: HCPC registration; CPD evidence.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, semi-automated and automated laboratory investigations.
• Participate in stock control and usage management.
• Undertake quality control procedures as per protocols.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and encourage safe practices.
