Job summary

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Biomedical Scientist (HCPC registered) to join the Chemical Pathology section of the Blood Sciences department in Swindon.

You will work with automated analysers and participate in quality management, SOP compliance and routine biochemistry testing to support patient care and timely reporting of results.

This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a large diagnostic service serving Swindon and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance, quality controls and troubleshooting procedures.
• Work within the Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) aligned to SOPs and policies.
• Deliver high-quality test results for Swindon patients within Chemical Pathology.
