Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Trainee Automation Engineer in the East Midlands area (Leicester working with nearby towns). You will receive full training and hands-on experience in installing, wiring, and commissioning automated gate systems for residential and commercial clients.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with site-based work and some travel to customer locations. A full UK driving licence is essential and a proactive, hands-on attitude is required.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on mindset and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and commissioning of automated gate systems.
• Wire motors and control equipment, run and terminate cables.
• Support fault finding and testing of systems.
• Carry out groundwork including trenching, fitting gate posts and basic metalwork.
