Specsavers in the United Kingdom is offering an Audiology Practitioner trainee role. You will be enrolled onto the AP course and trained with support from a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD) to learn ear wax removal, fitting and programming hearing aids, and domes/tubes replacement.

Want to help the nation hear clearer than ever? As an Audiology Practitioner at Specsavers, you can work alongside your partners and colleagues to help more customers with their hearing, faster. You will be enrolled onto the Specsavers AP course and will train to completion, with the support of a Hearing Aid Dispenser (HAD), learning valuable skills such as being able to perform ear wax removals, fit and programme hearing aids, fitting new domes and replace tubes. This role will also involve a degree of admin duties too.
Once fully trained there may be the opportunity to move on to other roles within the store or wider business. Here at Specsavers, your opportunities are endless. We would be especially keen to chat to candidates who have a wax removal qualification/certificate.
You will be to supporting our stores in Crewe, Nantwich and Market Drayton. Our stores in Crewe and Nantwich are accessible by public transport.

While we don’t need you to have a degree or any specific qualifications to enrol on this programme, we do need you to have a few skills to get started here.Firstly, you’ll need to have good written and verbal English skills, so we know you can communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues. You’ll also need to have a keen interest in self-development, desire to further your skills, and then ideally a fluency in use of patient management systems (but don’t worry if you don’t have that last one).
