Job summary

EM1 Ltd in Wales is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Operative to join its established licensed asbestos removal team. You will assist with site set up and safe abatement of asbestos-containing materials on housing contracts around Gwynedd, Rhyl, and Isle of Anglesey, with potential travel.

Applicants must hold a full driving licence, be able to work on site, follow procedures and H&S requirements, and be prepared for DBS checks and occasional away-work.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• DBS check required.
• Able to work on site and follow H&S procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up site and assist in safe asbestos abatement.
• Follow method statement and scope of works.
• Work effectively as part of a team on housing contracts.
• Possibly travel to other sites and work away when required.
