Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is recruiting a Diagnostic Radiographer for the General X-Ray Service at Rugby St Cross Hospital for an initial 12-month development period. You will perform general radiographic examinations and support the Imaging Department to ensure high-quality patient care.

Following the development, the post holder will undertake postgraduate ultrasound training and supervised practice towards Autonomous Sonographer status.

Qualifications

• Must hold HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience at the time of application.
• Opportunity to progress onto ultrasound training pathway after the initial period.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of general radiographic examinations with safe, patient-centred care.
• Work within the General X-Ray Service and support the wider Imaging Department.
• Participate in departmental rotas, including out-of-hours and on-call duties where required.
• Develop knowledge and skills to progress onto ultrasound training towards Advanced Practitioner Sonographer.
