Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with and performing civil works such as excavation, ground preparation, drainage installation, and site clearance, as well as operating construction machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves using hand tools and equipment, supporting site setup and maintenance, following project plans and instructions from site supervisors, and adhering to health and safety procedures at all times. Team members will help monitor work quality, report any issues or hazards, and collaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification. Administrative tasks may include basic reporting, completing checklists for equipment, and participating in training or toolbox talks, some of which may be completed remotely.
