Job summary

GBR Recruitment are partnering with a leading agricultural & groundcare machinery business to recruit five Trainee/Junior Engineers. The roles offer a Level 3 Land Based Engineering diploma while you train and work, earning as you learn.

You will develop skills in servicing, diagnosing and repairing tractors, mowers and related equipment. The programme combines classroom theory with depot-based workshop training and onsite experience, with mentoring throughout.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths, English Language and Science at Grade 4 (C) or above.
• Level 2 engineering qualification or another higher-level qualification in a related discipline.
• Genuine interest in machinery, engineering and mechanical servicing, with a desire to learn, develop technical skills and pursue a career in land-based engineering.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service, maintain, diagnose and repair agricultural and groundcare equipment.
• Gain hands-on workshop experience, working with qualified technicians and gradually taking on more responsibility.
• Programme combines depot-based learning with block release training at specialist centres, applying knowledge in real work environments.
• Specialist training in diagnostics, precision technologies, machine optimisation and advanced repair techniques, supported by mentors.
