Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust in Southampton invites applications for an (Trainee) Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the Acute Oncology Service. The role involves delivering unscheduled cancer care and supporting trainee ACPs through academic and clinical pathways.

We welcome qualified ACPs with Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent, and trainee ACPs with level 7 academic evidence.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional on relevant registration (NMC/HCPC).
• Healthcare degree or equivalent with 120 credits at level 6 or Masters level study.
• Commitment to MSc in area of specialty and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work varied shifts including weekends and nights.
• Provide independent practitioner duties in an acute setting.
• For qualified ACP, hold MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical Prescribing registration; for trainee, evidence level 7 study and senior decision making.
