Mitchell Adam is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join its finance team in a hybrid role. You will learn day-to-day accounting duties while gaining exposure to the wider finance function, including processing invoices, allocations, reconciliations, and ledger duties.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and allocate payments.
• Assist with reconciliations and maintain accurate records.

• Assist with month-end processes, reporting and general accounting duties.

Working closely with experienced members of the finance team, you will support a variety of day-to-day accounting duties while gaining exposure to the wider finance function. Responsibilities will include processing invoices, allocating payments, assisting with reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records, dealing with customer and supplier queries, and supporting general sales and purchase ledger duties. You will also have some involvement with service charge accounts, including assisting with expenditure, reconciliations, and related queries. As you develop, you will gain further exposure to month-end processes, reporting, and other general accounting duties, providing a strong foundation for your continued career in finance.
