Blue Arrow in Uddingston is seeking a motivated Trainee Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role offers full training across departments and a clear path to develop within the accounts function.

You will learn by doing, supporting purchase and sales ledgers, month-end tasks, and audit activities, while building your accounting knowledge and communication skills. A solid appetite to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous office-based work experience is essential.
• Some exposure to finance, accounts, or administration.
• HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within finance.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and Sales Ledger processing
• Assisting with month-end reporting
• Supporting year-end audit activities
• Stock taking and reconciliations
• Answering phones and general office administration
• Learning all aspects of the business and finance function
