Blue Arrow is seeking a motivated Trainee Accountant in Uddingston to join the growing finance team. You will receive full training across departments and learn every aspect of the business and finance function, setting a foundation for a long-term accounting career.

The role offers a structured development programme, study support for professional exams, and a salary band of 25,000–30,000 with 25 days holiday plus 8 public holidays, plus additional days with service, plus a company pension.

Qualifications

• Previous office-based work experience is essential.
• Some exposure to finance, accounts, or administration.
• HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within finance.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and Sales Ledger processing
• Assisting with month-end reporting
• Supporting year-end audit activities
• Stock taking and reconciliations
• Answering phones and general office administration
• Learning all aspects of the business and finance function
