Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd is recruiting a Trainee Accountant on a full-time basis in the UK. This is an immediate start with Monday to Friday, offering full training and hands-on work in a real accounting environment, covering bookkeeping, VAT and taxation, and accounts preparation.

The ideal candidate has recently completed A-Levels with good grades or a degree, little or no experience, and a strong willingness to learn.

Trainee Accountant

Full-Time | £24,784.50 per annum | Monday-Friday | Immediate Start

About the Opportunity

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Accountant who is keen to begin a career in accountancy and finance.

This role would ideally suit someone who has recently completed their A-Levels with good grades, has a strong educational background, or has recently graduated from university and is looking for a work placement to gain practical experience.

No previous experience is preferred, as full training and practical work experience will be provided. We are particularly interested in candidates who are eager to learn, have a positive attitude and are committed to developing their knowledge and skills within the accountancy profession.

Candidates who are currently studying towards an AAT qualification, or who are interested in pursuing one, are also encouraged to apply.

The Role and Responsibilities

As a Trainee Accountant, you will receive on-the-job training and gain hands-on experience across a range of accounting duties, with the opportunity to develop and progress as your skills and confidence grow.

Your responsibilities will include:
