Job summary

Currys Ballyclare is recruiting for a Trainee 7.5T driver to join our Belfast Customer Service Centre on a permanent, full-time basis. You will train to safely deliver, install and demonstrate a range of smart tech from white goods to TVs, visiting customers’ homes and ensuring a positive experience.

The role requires a full UK/EU driving licence (Category B) with up to six penalty points and a passion for great customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK/EU category B driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Passion for delivering great customer service.
• Willingness to learn technical skills and a practical mindset.
• Confidence using tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving products.
• Previous experience in electrical or technical work is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install a range of electrical products in customers’ homes.
• Provide clear, friendly demonstrations and outstanding service.
• Handle products with care and follow health and safety procedures.
• Keep in regular contact with the Customer Service Centre and adapt to changes throughout the day.
• Use handheld tech to record visits and customer signatures.
• Drive responsibly and be a visible ambassador for Currys.
• Support operational needs, including collections and deliveries from stores.
