Job summary

Currys Aberdeen is seeking a dedicated 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver for a permanent full-time role. You will deliver and install large appliances and tech, work with a partner to move items, and ensure safe handling using lifting aids and equipment.

Expect around 25 deliveries daily and 8–10 installations, with training provided. You must hold a UK/EA Class C1 licence with few penalty points and CPC ( Tachograph card preferred).

Qualifications

• Full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card (and Tachograph card preferred).
• Comfortable working in a practical, physical role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time.

7.5T Delivery & Install Driver

Aberdeen, Aberdeen Customer Service Centre – Permanent, Full Time.

Salary: £33,415.20

Shift Pattern: 5 over 7 days (5 days on and 2 days off)

As a 7.5T Delivery & Install Driver, you’ll be out on the road delivering and installing large household appliances and tech such as washing machines, fridge‑freezers and TVs. You’ll serve as the friendly face our customers see, helping them set up and often making their day.

Role Overview

What you’ll do:

• Deliver the right products to the right customers, on time
• Install a range of household appliances and tech safely and professionally
• Work as part of a 2‑person team to move and position large items
• Use equipment such as tail lifts, sack barrows and lifting aids to work safely
• Drive a multi‑drop route and keep everything running smoothly
• Create a positive, friendly experience every time you step into a customer’s home

This role is busy and hands‑on. You’ll typically complete around 25 deliveries a day, with 8–10 involving installations. No two days are the same, and you’ll finish each shift knowing you’ve made a real difference.

Training will cover installation skills and customer care so you’ll feel confident and supported from day one.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a practical, physical role
