SALARY: £23,006 per annum

ROLE TYPE: Onsite

HOURS: 35 per week

Do you take pride in your work and show dedication? Are you hardworking and dependable? We’re looking for reliable individuals to join our team of Train Cleaners, making sure our trains are clean, hygienic, and ready to roll across the North.

Can you see yourself:

• Delivering spotless trains to ensure a positive passenger experience.
• Collaborating with your team to maintain high cleaning standards and ensure cleanliness of trains and facilities.
• Interacting confidently with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Paying attention to detail and taking pride in keeping our trains and work environments hygienic.
• Proactively addressing cleaning issues, such as spills or litter, quickly and safely.

Are you:

• Adaptable and Resilient: Comfortable working outdoors and onboard trains, handling different weather conditions and demands.
• Flexible: Able to work varying schedules, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Keen to Learn and Grow: No prior cleaning experience required; training provided.
• Active: Willing to reach a daily goal of 10,000 steps while keeping trains clean and safe.

This role is safety critical and subject to Rail Safety & Standards Board (RSSB) regulations. You must:

• Live within a 45-minute car journey from your work station.
• Be at least 18 years old at application time.
• Pass a safety critical medical assessment, including drugs and alcohol screening.
• Have no defective colour vision.
