Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies (currently operating 464 stations, the most of any TOC in the UK), who are seeking to recruit a Train Cleaner to join the train cleaning team at Allerton Depot.
The company covers the whole of the North, which includes the Northeast & West of England, Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as the occasional part of the East Midlands and Staffordshire. As a result of this, they have a large fleet of trains – 333 to be precise, so it's safe to say you will be active & busy with your role!

The Role:
We are currently looking for an individual to join the night shift cleaning team as a Train Cleaner based at Allerton Depot. As a Train Cleaner you will be carrying out all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning, which includes duties such as:
You will typically be working within a team of four Train Cleaners, plus one Team Leader carrying out heavy and deep cleans on the Northern Rail fleet. This is a very fast paced and intensive role, with on average 20 trains and 55 coaches being cleaned per night, so our client needs someone who can step and be a real team player. Attention to detail is also needed for this role, as you will be cleaning everything inside and outside of public view.
You will be working on a 4 on 4 off/5 on 3 off shift pattern, with working hours being 20:15 – 05:15am.

Pay Rate & Benefits:
The pay rate for the train cleaner position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.
