Mobile Train Cleaner

FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED – MINIMUM 2 YEARS

Covering Bradford & the surrounding areas

Night Shift

6-month initial contract with the opportunity to join on a permanent basis.

£13.05p/h

Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies (currently operating 464 stations, the most of any TOC in the UK), who are seeking to recruit a Mobile Train Cleaner to join the train cleaning team covering Bradford and the surrounding areas. Ganymede Solutions are a stock market recognised recruitment agency, specialising in the transportation, infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors on both permanent and contract basis.

The company covers the whole of the North, which includes the Northeast & West of England, Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as the occasional part of the East Midlands and Staffordshire. As a result of this, they have a large fleet of trains – 333 to be precise, so it's safe to say you will be active & busy with your role!

Ganymede are looking to hire someone with a ‘go getter’ attitude who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and can lead a team by example.

The Role:

As a Mobile Train Cleaner, your role will consist of deep and full cleans, from hoovering floors, replenishing/cleaning toilets, sanitizing touch points, buffering and much more. You’ll be working in a team with other Mobile Train Cleaners, covering Bradford & surrounding areas.

Hours wise, it is an 20:00pm – 06:00am night shift role, where you will work on a rotating shift rota. The rota goes as follows:

4 on 4 off

4 on 5 off

5 on 4 off

Remuneration & Benefits:

This rail company has on offer the following for contract staff:

• £13.05p/h rate
• Progression routes – Our client is hiring into their business on a permanent basis after an initial phase on a 6-month contract. Once permanent you will then receive opportunities to further progress your career in a range of positions such as train presentation, engineering, customer service and more. The additional benefits include free travel on their network, discounted travel on a range of train operating companies and more.

Requirements:

• Have held a UK DRIVING LICENSE FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS!
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
• Be able to pass a full rail medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc
• Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
• Happy to help mentality/attitude
• A decent fitness is needed as the site is very large and will involve a lot of walking, so please keep this in mind when applying
