Job summary

Recruitmentor is seeking a field-based fire equipment technician to cover Blackpool, Preston and St Annes. You will assess buildings for hazards, replace and service portable extinguishers, and ensure safety and workmanship meet standards.

Full training provided, autonomous work style expected, with a company vehicle and progression prospects in a long-standing fire safety business. Salary starts around £25k with potential plus bonuses to £35–£38k in time.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mobile role or similar is desirable, however full training will be provided.
• Understanding of Health & Safety at work.
• Ability to hold an autonomous role and demonstrate excellent time management.
• High levels of literacy, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Covering Blackpool, Preston and St Annes primarily.
• Assessing buildings for potential hazards and replacing fire protection equipment accordingly.
• Servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers to British Standards 5306.
• Ensure fire protection systems are carried out with a high level of safety, efficiency and workmanship.
