Reporting to the Traffic Management Supervisor, the Traffic Management Operative will deploy Traffic Signals on planned and reactive Traffic Projects. Assist in executing Permanent Traffic Signal Works, ensuring efficiency and safety.

This role is vital for managing traffic systems safely, contributing to the smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians in urban environments around Walsall.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct safety checks of equipment
• Perform battery swaps
• Deploy traffic management on planned and reactive works
• Assist Installation and Engineering teams onsite
• Ensure compliance with site specifications, maintaining quality standards
• Prepare equipment for works
• Maintain safety by adhering to Health and Safety Procedures

Who you are:

Experienced in Traffic Management, with necessary qualifications. Positive, proactive, flexible to travel and work nights if needed.

Key Requirements:

• Valid, clean driving license
• NHSS 12D M1,2 & 5 qualifications
• Experience on highways or urban roads
• Good communication skills
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure
