Yunex Traffic UK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to diagnose faults on traffic signal assets and conduct proactive maintenance under the TSM contract. You’ll work to the highest safety standards and build strong client relationships with on-site contractors.

The role involves hands-on electrical testing, occasional on-call duties, and ongoing training to stay current with industry requirements. A proactive, team-focused attitude is essential for reliable service delivery.

Competenze

• GCSEs including Mathematics and English (A-C) or 4-9, or equivalent.
• Traffic Signals/Highways experience preferred.
• Reliability, initiative and flexibility in problem solving.
• Effective communication and cooperative teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and risk awareness as part of daily tasks.

Mansioni

• Attend, diagnose and resolve faults on traffic signal assets and related equipment.
• Perform reactive and proactive maintenance to high quality standards.
• Conduct periodic inspections of signal assets and highways systems with electrical testing.
• Install, replace and set up traffic signal assets with or without a team.
• Complete remedial works after incidents and equipment failures.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and on-site contractors.
• Use tools safely and follow risk assessments and training.
• Submit clearance notes and data via fault management systems.
• Support contract management with site surveys and delivery of works.
• Adhere to schedules, response times and planned works.
