Hampshire County Council is recruiting for a Traffic Management Engineer in the Safer Roads and Parking Team. The role offers hybrid working across home, drop-in centres and Winchester HQ, with live highway site work.

You will aid in delivering safety schemes and traffic management projects while coordinating with Police and local authorities. Ideal candidates will be well-organised, communicate effectively, and have GCSEs in Maths and English.

Competenze

• Strong communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Mansioni

• Assist in the delivery and monitoring of Traffic and Safety scheme programmes.
• Identify, devise and deliver schemes to enhance safety and efficiency of the road network.
• Provide support for other highways and transport functions.
• Collaborate with external partners such as Police and local councils.
