The role involves supporting the delivery and monitoring of Traffic and Safety schemes and initiatives to improve road safety and network efficiency.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English.
• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery and monitoring of Traffic and Safety scheme programmes.
• Identify, devise and deliver schemes and initiatives to improve road safety and efficiency.
• Provide support for other highways and transport functions.
• Work closely with external partners such as the Police and local Councils and other public bodies.
• Support internal partner groups and contribute to project delivery.
