Traffic Planner Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section. What will you do? The Traffic Coordinator will ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of vehicles, plant, and people, supporting the Enabling & Earthworks scope. The role will manage gate operations, haul routes, access control, delivery sequencing, and traffic marshalling to maintain flow, minimize interface risks with earthworks activities, and protect critical path operations across the Sizewell C project.
Essential Strong understanding of construction traffic management, plant movements, and interface controls with earthworks. Confident communicator with supervisors, drivers, and multiple subcontractors. Ability to use DMSs and MS Excel for logs and KPIs. CSCS Card. Full UK Driving Licensel.
Essential Experience coordinating traffic or site logistics on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Proven experience running gatehouse/access operations and managing traffic marshal/banksperson.
