Job summary

ITS Building People are seeking an experienced Traffic Banksman/Labourer for a project in Billingshurst, West Sussex. You will manage vehicle flow and assist with on-site operations on a 12-month temporary contract. Own transport is an advantage.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 17:30, with potential overtime. Required are a valid CSCS card and a Traffic Marshal/Banksman ticket; PPE is expected or provided by the agency for a small fee. Labouring duties included.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman card is required.
• Own high-visibility vest/jacket, gloves and hard hat preferred or may be provided for a fee.
• Own transport is advantageous for the role.

Job Description

ITS Building people are looking for an experienced Traffic Marshall/Labourer to assist our client with a project based in Billinshurst, West Sussex. Own transport ideal.

This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime.

Daily responsibilities will include

• Banking traffic in and out of site
• Marshalling Plant
• Assisting the site management team
• Signing people in and out
• Labourering will be required

Requirements for the role

• A valid CSCS
• A valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman card
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
• Own tools not required

Training/Progression opportunities

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
