Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Traffic Marshall in Guildford for a temporary (full-time) role on a construction site. The position involves directing traffic, managing site access, and supporting site safety policies on a live development.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CSCS card and a Traffic Marshall qualification, with prior experience preferred. A positive attitude and reliability are essential for coordinating deliveries and maintaining site security.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CSCS card is required.
• Experience as Traffic Marshall or Banksman preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow and parking on site in accordance with site safety policy.
• Monitor deliveries and control access to the site.
• Secure barrier protection around the site and ensure fencing is secure.
• Work under supervision of the Project/ Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager.

• Pay rate: £17 - £17.50 per hour.

The role:

As the Traffic Marshall for the development, you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager.
• Ensuring contractors are parking as per the site safety policy.
• Controlling flow of traffic when deliveries enter the site.
• Securing barrier protection around the site and making sure the fencing is secure.

Please note there is no welfare responsibilities involved in this role.

About you:

Some previous experience is preferred but not essential.

To be successful ... you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification.
