Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Traffic Marshal/Banksman for an Exeter-based site on a new housing project. You will help direct traffic, bank plant and delivery wagons, and liaise with contractors and the public. The role requires clear communication and good organisation in a busy construction environment.

The position is on-site with hours 7.30–16.30, Monday to Friday, with weekend work potential. CSCS, PPE, and NPORS/CPCS qualifications are essential, plus prior Banksman experience with

• Previous Banksman/Traffic Marshal experience with references.

JOB TITLE: Traffic Marshal/ Banksman

INDUSTRY: Building and Construction

START DATE: ASAP

SALARY BAND: £15.08ph - £17.25ph

Traffic Marshal/ Banksman required in Exeter to join a new build housing site. Reporting to the Site Manager the day to day duties will include ensuring contractors park in allocated areas, banking plant and delivery wagons safely and managing traffic flow through site. The role will require good communication and organisational skills as there will be elements of liaising with both contractors and the general public.

Site is accessible via public transport and has free on-site parking.

Working hours will be 7.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday with the potential for weekend work.
