Job summary

Ringway is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Traffic Management team based at the Chelston Depot in Somerset. This is a full-time, permanent role with 40 hours per week, including day and night shifts, located in Taunton.

You will lead operational teams, plan deployments, ensure depot compliance, and coordinate works across the network while maintaining high safety standards. Strong knowledge of health and safety, Sector Scheme 12 LTMO and NHSS/TSS qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in traffic management or a similar operational environment.
• Sector Scheme 12 LTMO qualification.
• Traffic Management supervisory experience and NHSS/TSS qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Brief and allocate daily work activities to operatives.
• Prepare job packs and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Supervise traffic management operations and maintain safe working practices.
• Conduct depot compliance checks and health & safety inspections.
• Liaise with clients and operational stakeholders.
• Maintain records and reports using Excel and other systems.
• Support and develop operational teams.
