Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited in Worsley is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to manage traffic schemes on a variety of projects, ensuring safety and efficiency. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed, with a proactive, can-do attitude.

You will supervise traffic control methods, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with Red Book and ARTS guidance. A LANTRA accreditation and a valid UK driving licence are essential, with a competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d qualification (minimum TTMBC, 12d M1-M2).
• Lantra 12a/b accreditation; IPV driver. Foreman is advantageous.
• Valid UK driving licence; ability to read CAD drawings.
• Understanding of Chapter 8 vs Safety at Street Works guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all traffic management methods and control signals on site.
• Ensure work follows safe methods and best practice procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements for traffic works.
• Adopt procedures to maintain site safety and report improvements.
• Perform daily vehicle checks for cleanliness and safety.
• Promote positive company image and site tidiness.
• Assist the public and direct traffic safely when required.
• Identify when management intervention is needed.
