Job summary

Ashton Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting Traffic Management Operatives for our client across Northern Ireland, based in Castlereagh, Belfast.

This hands-on role requires you to set up traffic control, install equipment and monitor roadworks, with full training and a buddy to support you. We seek individuals with labouring or warehousing experience; a valid UK driving licence (max six penalty points) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience in labouring, warehousing or manual handling.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, good timekeeping and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility around working hours and locations.
• Desirable: CSR card and/or traffic management experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up traffic management systems, including contraflows and temporary lights.
• Install and operate traffic management equipment.
• Monitor and control traffic during roadworks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Ashton Recruitment is recruiting Traffic Management Operatives for our client based in Castlereagh, Belfast, with work taking place across Northern Ireland.

Traffic Management Operatives - Belfast

£12.71 per hour | Full training provided | Temporary to Permanent

This is an active, hands-on role suited to someone with experience in labouring, warehousing or manual handling. Previous traffic management experience is desirable, but full training is provided, with a dedicated buddy to support you throughout your training.

Location: Castlereagh, Belfast - working across Northern Ireland
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Typically 8:00am-4:00pm, although hours may vary
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Your duties will include:

• Setting up traffic management systems, including contraflows, narrow lanes and temporary traffic lights.
• Installing and operating traffic management equipment.
• Monitoring and controlling traffic during roadworks.
• Working closely with colleagues to carry out tasks safely and efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with members of the public.

What we're looking for:

• A valid UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience in labouring, warehousing or manual handling.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A reliable approach, good timekeeping and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility around working hours and locations.

Desirable:

• A valid CSR card.
• Previous traffic management experience.
