Job summary

Morrow Contracts Ltd requires a Traffic Management Operative to join a busy team in Northern Ireland. You will set up and maintain traffic control devices across multiple sites daily, under the supervision of the Traffic Management Supervisor.

Ongoing paid overtime is available, including weekend and out-of-hours work. Full training is provided to enable progression within the company and you will work on various utility contracts such as Northern Ireland Water, BT Openreach and Northern Ireland

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in Traffic Management
• Setting up 12D Lane Closures
• Setting up Road closures
• Setting up 2, 3 or 4 way traffic systems
• Setting up Stop / Go
• B+E Trailer Licence

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain cones, traffic lights and warning signs to implement lane and road closures
• Ensure lorry is fully equipped for each TM setup and equipment accounted for on return
• Work on Utility contracts, including Northern Ireland Water / BT Openreach / Northern Ireland Electricity
• Adhere to site specification and Health & Safety guidelines as outlined by the Company
• Ad hoc duties as required within the realms of Traffic Management

Traffic Management Operative

The role is to work within in a team, setting up multiple traffic management sites on a daily basis.

Working to the site specification as arranged by the Traffic Management Supervisor

Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines as outlined by the Company

This is a very busy working environment and we offer ongoing paid overtime (both weekend work and out of hours)

Full training is provided to allow progression throughout the company

About the role

The set up and ongoing maintenance of cones, traffic lights and warning signs to implement lane and road closures

Ensuring lorry is fully equipped for each TM set up before leaving in the morning and all equipment is accounted for on returning to the yard

Working on numerous Utility contracts, including Northern Ireland Water / BT Openreach / Northern Ireland Electricity

Any adhoc duties as required within the realms of Traffic Management

Required Criteria
