Job summary

Pinson TM Limited are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, reading CAD traffic management drawings, reporting to the site or operations manager, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance with RAMS. Right to Work in UK and 12D M5 Lantra qualification are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Team Player required for collaborative field work.
• Must pass Drugs & Alcohol check as part of eligibility.
• Right to Work in the UK is mandatory.
• 12D M5 Lantra approved qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• Ensuring the team works safely and effectively to achieve quality output.
• Compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware of RAMS and comply with them.
• Unloading/loading of materials.
• Following Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practices.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
